A Happy Accident
I was just messing around with the Pencil Tool in Flash CS 5.1 and created this cool effect by accident. I fully intend on creating some Jackson Pollock inspired paintings with this technique. Later, I'll share with you how I got created this image. More art coming soon! : )

Happy New Year!
Sorry for the late post. I had planned on posting something just after the New Year had started but, I had to work. Here's some cool gesture drawings I did from some online reference site I can't recall the name of at the moment. Maybe it was pixelovely.com. http://artists.pixelovely.com/practice-tools/figure-drawing/ I think it was. Anyway, here's a little of what I like to do with the figure when warming up to draw. All the great Disney artists did these and I am no exception. I gotta do 'em too.
If I'm not mistaken, these are all 300 dpi. In other words, they're suitable for printing. lol! : ) More to come later. I'm working two jobs now. Neither of which are creative art jobs. So, I'll try to post as much as I can this month. Work and sleep comes first you know. I found some really cool painting tutorials online and I've got to set aside some time to learn from them. Between working, sleeping and, advancing my skill set I'm not sure when I'll find the time to actually update this blog but, I will try. As you can see, I've posted more last year than in previous years.
